LA Kings announce 2022-23 training camp roster and schedule

The LA Kings have officially released the 2022-23 training camp roster and schedule.

A large majority of these players have experienced an LA Kings training camp before, but as always, there are a few new faces that will be at camp in the coming days. Those players include newly acquired forward Kevin Fiala, free agent signings Pheonix Copley and Tobie Paquette-Bisson, a few other rookies such as Kaleb Lawrence and Angus Booth, and others who have been a part of previous tournaments and development camps.

Last year saw 66 players attend the LA Kings training camp, which is three more than they have this year. The lineup includes 37 forwards, 20 defensemen, and six goaltenders. There are no significant players missing from the camp this year. The Kings were able to ink both Mikey Anderson and Sean Durzi, so there are no worries that either of them will not be attending, unlike a few other current restricted free agents around the NHL.

The training camp is accessible to the public, and it will be held at Toyota Sports Performance Center in El Segundo. The first day of camp will be on Thursday, September 22nd, and will conclude on Monday, October 10th, lasting almost three weeks. Pre-season games will be played within that time frame. There will be seven pre-season games that will be played in Los Angeles at Crypto.com Arena and two games that will be played in the LA area.

Saturday, September 24th

•   Group A Practice – 10 a.m.

•   Group A vs. B Scrimmage – 10:50 a.m.

•   Group B Practice – 12:25 p.m.

•   Group C Practice – 1 p.m.

Sunday, September 25th

•   Group B – 10 a.m.

•   Group C – 11:30 a.m.

•   Game at San Jose – 4 p.m.

Monday, September 26th

•   Group A – 10 a.m.

•   Group B – 11:15 a.m.

•   Game at Vegas – 7 p.m.

Tuesday, September 27th

•   Group A – 11:30 a.m.

•   Group B – 1 p.m.

•   Group C – 2:15 p.m.

Wednesday, September 28th

•   Group A – 10 a.m.

•   Group B – 11:15 a.m.

•   Group C – 1:15 p.m.

•   Game vs. San Jose – 7 p.m.
