Dudas spent most of his time in a bottom-six role for the Reign in 2021-22.
2022-23 Season Outlook
For a player that does possess some tools, the unfortunate thing for Dudas is he’s behind a plethora of highly touted prospects in a very deep LA Kings farm system. That said, if Dudas can continue to grow his game and utilize the talent that is around him, he can use this as a chance to get a better opportunity either within the organization or perhaps outside.
Dudas could see some more skill on his line this season with AHL veteran Alan Quine being signed to a deal. Quine has been a productive player during his time in the AHL. Whether it be Quine or one of the prospects such as Samuel Helenius or Andre Lee, Dudas will have the opportunity to put the tools he has to good use.
This is the final year of his entry-level contract, and he’ll be a Restricted Free Agent after this 2022-23 campaign.
