Season review

Copley started training camp with the LA Kings, but after being placed on waivers with the purpose of being assigned to the Reign, was claimed by the Tampa Bay Lightning. Copley would soon be acquired again by the Kings and finished the season with the Reign and a handful of games with the Kings.

Copley, in his first game with the Reign after being re-acquired by the organization, made 24 saves in a 5-2 road victory over the Abbotsford Canucks. The start of the season proved to be a rocky start for the veteran, but his play got better as the season progressed.

He won eight of his final nine starts, including his final five. He started in two playoff games as he rotated starts with Portillo and went 1-1 with a 2.57 GAA and a .924 SV%.

Copley is an unrestricted free agent on July 1st.
