Season review
Dvořák completed his second professional season in North America. In 45 games, the 21-year-old scored four goals and added three helpers for seven points, surpassing his total from last season of four points. Dvořák was sometimes rotated in and out of the lineup, missed 13 games from early February to mid-March, but didn’t suit up for any of the five Reign playoff games.

I can see why the Kings organization likes Dvořák. He’s got size (6’5) and a long reach of the stick, prompting the Kings to select him with their second-round pick in 2023. I don’t see him having much offensive upside in his game, and his skating, particularly his lateral movement, is still an issue. I know the organization is preaching patience in his development, and I can see why, as bigger defensemen can take longer to develop. However, I have Angus Booth, Kirill Kirsanov, and even Jared Woolley ahead of him on the depth chart of left-handed defensemen.
