The LA Kings held a full team skate this morning ahead of their matchup against the Vancouver Canucks tonight!
Getting Their Legs Back
The LA Kings had two skaters on the ice well before the start of practice this morning. Forward Gabriel Vilardi and defenseman Alex Edler were both skating in red non-contact jerseys before the full group took the ice. Vilardi has been out of the lineup with an injury since March 28th, missing the last seven games for your Kings while Edler has been out of action for the last three games dating back to April 4th.

Back In Black
However, Edler and Vilardi’s skating was not the only positive news the Kings and their fans received today. Defenseman Mikey Anderson was not only back on the ice today, but in a black jersey and taking rushes with the team. Anderson is expected to slot back into his spot on the top pairing with Drew Doughty.

Scratches and New Faces
The Kings had three skaters on late making them tonight’s healthy scratches. These included defenseman Tobias Bjornfot, and forward Zack MacEwen. The third and final scratch tonight is rookie skater Alex Laferriere. Laferriere scored his first professional goal just three nights ago with the Ontario Reign in the same game they clinched their spot in the Calder Cup Playoffs. Laferriere signed a three-year entry-level contract with the LA Kings yesterday.
The puck drops at 7:30 Pacific time tonight for the LA Kings’ final home game of the regular season, be ready!
