The left-shot defenseman has experience playing on both the left side as well as the right and has done both quite well.

2022-23 Outlook
After the Ontario Reign’s recent signings, there will be some competition on the left side of the AHL defense group. Cameron Gaunce and Kim Nousiainen will be expected to handle the top two pairs, but between Paquette-Bisson, Tyler Inamoto, and Christian Kasastul, there will be a fight for ice time.
Paquette-Bisson is likely to have the leg-up on that trio as his is the only two-way NHL contract, and he does have the most AHL experience of the bunch. The LA Kings signed the Quebec native to a one-year, two-way deal worth $750,000 in the NHL and $125,000 in the AHL.
I’d expect the left-shot defenseman to have an opportunity next to AHL veteran defenseman Frederic Allard on the third pairing in Ontario.
