LA Kings Prospect Update – Week 2/3

A week has passed, and it’s time for another LA Kings prospect update. Liam Greentree highlighted this week’s prospect update by scoring six points (2 G, 4 A) in three games. After going scoreless in two games last week, LA’s first-round pick from this past draft found the scoresheet again in all three games, including two multi-point games. The talented 19-year-old winger recorded a three-assist game against the Sarnia Sting and had a two-point night (1 G, 1 A) against the Brantford Bulldogs; both were wins by the Windsor Spitfires.

Greentree is up to 86 points (35 G, 51 A) in 50 games, good enough to be tied for second in scoring in the OHL. Overall, he is tied for fourth in scoring in the CHL (QMJHL, OHL, and WHL) and has formed a lethal duo with teammate Ilya Protas (Washington Capitals prospect) on Windsor’s top line.
