LA Kings Prospect Update – Week 11/4

A week has passed and it’s time for another LA Kings weekly prospect update. There was no doubt about it when deciding which prospect would highlight this week’s update. Koehn Ziemmer highlighted another weekly update with a strong performance for the Prince George Cougars of the WHL for the second straight week and third time this season.

In three games, Ziemmer recorded seven goals and one assist for eight points with a +3 rating. Ziemmer had multi-goals in all three games, including a natural hat trick on Saturday (11/9/24) and an overtime game-winning goal on Sunday (11/10/24).

With his quick release and scoring abilities, Ziemmer has 11(!) goals in his last five games while winning 47.6% of his faceoffs playing as Prince George’s 2C. Ziemmer has 17 goals and 7 assists for 24 points in 13 games on the season. He was named WHL Player of the Week for his performance.
