LA Kings Prospect Update – Week 10/28

A week has passed and it’s time for another LA Kings weekly prospect update. Several players could’ve highlighted this week’s update but a prospect from the WHL took that title. That player is Koehn Ziemmer.

Ziemmer played in two games for the Prince George Cougars (WHL) and recorded five points (4G-1A) in those two games. The first game saw Ziemmer record a goal and a primary assist against the Moose Jaw Warriors. He was named the third star of the game.

The second game of the week saw Ziemmer score his 100th career WHL goal and a hat trick later on with an assist. With five points in two games during the week, Ziemmer has 16 points (10G-6A) in 10 games on the season while playing as the second-line center for the Cougars. It’s safe to say he has looked fine after missing most of last season with an ankle injury.
