LA Kings Prospect Update – Week 1/29

Another week has passed, and it’s time for our weekly LA Kings prospect update. This week’s prospect update was highlighted by Alex Turcotte, who recorded his first two career NHL points, including a goal, in the Kings’ 4-2 victory over the Nashville Predators.

Dealing with various injuries since turning pro, highlighted by two concussions in the 2021-22 season, it’s been a tough road for Turcotte to get where he’s at. That big scream by him after his goal sums up the last two years as plenty of Kings fans and pundits wondered if that moment would come. Finally, playing a good amount of games this season in Ontario and a cup of coffee with the Kings, Turcotte has shown he can be an impactful player for the organization in the future.
