LA Kings prospect update – Week 12/25

Another week has passed, and it’s time to find out who highlighted this week’s LA Kings prospect update. There were plenty of players who had great weeks or a memorable one. Angus Booth signed his entry-level contract, Matthew Mania and Brandt Clarke were exceptional, Ryan Conmy had a good week in college, and Francesco Pinelli recorded his first multi-point game in the professional ranks.

However, we can only pick one player. That player is Jacob Ingham. After starting the season in Greenville, Ingham was called up to the Ontario Reign on December 15th after David Rittich got called up to the Kings because of Pheonix Copley being placed on the long-term injured reserved list.

After missing all of last season with a back injury, Ingham was given the starting nod on Saturday, December 30th, on the road against the Henderson Silver Knights. It was Ingham’s first start in the AHL since February 14th, 2022.

Ingham ended up making 39 saves on 40 shots faced for his first AHL victory since January 22nd, 2022. While he only played in one game, it was a memorable one for him after the long road to get back to playing hockey.
