Erik Portillo highlighted this week’s LA Kings prospect update making 30 saves on 31 shots faced in a 2-1 Ontario Reign victory over the Tucson Roadrunners.

Portillo, 23, had his best game of the season in his lone start of the week. After surrendering five goals in his previous start against the Eagles, Portillo bounced back to help the Reign snap their mini three-game losing streak. He was named the first star of the game for his performance. In four games into his rookie season, Portillo has recorded a 2.76 goals against average and a .904 save percentage.
