LA Kings Prospect Update – Week 2/16

Another week has passed, and it’s time for another LA Kings‘ weekly prospect update. This week’s update was highlighted by forward Jan Chovan. Chovan played in four games with the Sudbury Wolves and posted four goals, two assists, and 14 shots on goal.

Chovan started the week off strong with a four-point effort, which included a hat trick, against the Niagara IceDogs. He also scored the overtime winning goal in Sudbury’s 6-5 victory over the Flint Firebirds.

The 2025 sixth-round pick leads the Wolves in goals (21), points (43), and power-play goals (13) in 50 games during his first OHL season after spending the previous four seasons overseas. The Wolves hold the final playoff spot in the OHL’s Eastern Conference.
