PROSPECT REPORT 11/6: Liam Greentree Racks Up Three Points

Thursday night only saw two LA Kings prospects in action, and both had multi-point games.

Jan Chovan

Jan Chovan, a 6th-round pick by the Kings, recorded a goal and a secondary assist, factoring in on both goals in the Sudbury Wolves’ (OHL) 6-2 loss to the Barrie Colts. The goal was Chovan’s fourth tally and second multi-point game of the season. The 18-year-old is known as a two-way forward and has played up and down the Sudbury lineup, mainly on the wing.

What a display of quick hands there!

Liam Greentree

Liam Greentree played in his 200th career OHL game and factored in on all three Windsor Spitfire goals. Greentree recorded two assists (one primary and one secondary) in the first period and gave the Spitfires breathing room with a marker early in the third period to make it 3-0.

The 19-year-old has seven points (4 G, 3 A) in his last two games. Los Angeles’ number-one prospect is in his final OHL season and is 27 points away from 300 in his OHL career.
