2024-25 season
Samuel Bolduc scored 35 points (9 G, 26 A) in 62 games for the Bridgeport Islanders, the AHL affiliate of the New York Islanders. Bolduc’s 35 points ranked fifth on the team. Despite Bolduc ranking fifth on the team in points and top five among AHL defensemen in points on the power play, it was a poor overall season for Bridgeport.

Their record of 15-50-4-3 and four wins on home ice were both last in the league, with the latter being the worst in AHL history. As a result of the team’s -113 goal differential, Bolduc’s plus-minus rating, like everyone else on the team, was a huge negative (-38).

Bolduc will join the LA Kings organization after spending the previous six years in the New York Islanders system. He signed a one-year, two-way NHL contract in July and will be assigned to the AHL. With the Reign, Bolduc can quarterback one of the power play units and brings some AHL and NHL experience to a backend that will feature four players 23 years or younger, playing in their first or second professional season in North America.
