LA Kings: Three Prospects Make World Junior Camp Rosters

December! It’s not only the month of Christmas but for hockey fans and prospects, it’s the month of World Juniors. Fans can see prospects from their team and players who are draft-eligible in upcoming drafts to compete on the national stage. For the LA Kings, three of their prospects made World Junior Camp rosters.

Defenseman Jakub Dvorak (Czech Republic) and goaltenders Carter George (Canada) and Hampton Slukynsky (USA) made the preliminary rosters for their respective countries. Unfortunately, Liam Greentree was left off Canada’s stacked roster. New IIHF rules for the 2025 World Juniors will allow teams to carry 25 players (22 skaters and three goalies), with game rosters still at the normal 20 players.

Training camp for the Czech Republic and Canada begins December 10th and the 16th for the USA (followed by exhibition games against Slovakia and Finland on the 21st and 23rd). Final rosters will be submitted on December 24th with the tournament starting on the 26th.

Congrats to all three prospects!
