LA Kings Prospect Update – Week 11/11

A week has passed and it’s time for another LA Kings prospect update. This week’s update was highlighted by goalie prospect Carter George. George appeared in three games (two starts and one relief appearance) for the Owen Sound Attack (OHL) and stopped 81 of 87 shots faced during the week, good enough for a .931 save percentage. In addition to that stat, George also scored a goalie goal, becoming the first goaltender in Attack history and the 11th goaltender in OHL history to do so.

The 57th overall pick from this previous draft has posted a 3.25 GAA and a .907 save percentage in 17 games (4-8-4 record) on an Attack team that has been abysmal defensively in front of him. He is second in the OHL in saves (529) and shots faced (583) and eighth in save percentage (.907). He’s averaging 31 saves while seeing an average of 34 shots per game.
