LA Kings: Jacob Ingham Signs NHL Contract

While teams are making moves ahead of the trade deadline, the LA Kings made a move internally with one of their goaltending prospects on Wednesday afternoon.

The Kings announced that goaltender Jacob Ingham signed a one-year, two-way contract with an AAV of $775,000, and will be loaned to Greenville, the team announced in a press release. This came hours after Tony Androckitis, a tremendous writer for Inside AHL Hockey, mentioned the Ontario Reign and Ingham mutually agreed to terminate his AHL contract.

Taylor Swift went on the Eras Tour this past summer, but Ingham started his redemption tour in September by coming into the season with something to prove. He signed an AHL contract in the summer after missing the previous season with a back injury. After 24 games in the ECHL (and six in the AHL), and a .916 save percentage, the organization rewarded him with an NHL contract.

A perfect example of hard work paying off. Congratulations, Ingham!
