LA Kings prospect update – Week 11/20

Another week has passed and it’s time for another LA Kings weekly prospect update. While there were plenty of candidates to see which player highlighted this past week’s prospect system, only one can be picked. The honors for this past week went to goaltender Hampton Slukynsky.

Slukynsky started two games this past week for the Fargo Force and recorded shutouts in both of them to improve his record to 9-0-0 in the USHL. The 18-year-old, drafted by the LA Kings in the fourth round this past summer, currently leads all qualified and rookie netminders with a 1.53 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage.
