LA Kings prospect update – Week 10/9

Today marks the first edition of our LA Kings weekly prospect update here at Hockey Royalty for the 2023-2024 season. Just like last year, we will provide weekly updates throughout the season on prospects and players in the Kings system.

For our first week, Koehn Ziemmer highlighted the LA Kings pipeline with four points in two games for the Pince George Cougars of the WHL. There were a handful of players who could’ve highlighted the Kings pipeline but the honors ultimately went to Ziemmer. Ziemmer recorded two goals and two assists while registering 14 shots on goal during the week. The Cougars went 1-1 in the two games.

  1. Is QB still a Prospect, even after 3 years . It’s been a tough few years for Byfield, but the Time to Show Why he was Worth a No. 2 Pick in a Draft is here . His Non-contact style of play is concerning and his un-willing to even try and Stand Up for Teammates is Bad Chemistry . Byfield is needed to Step Up for the Kings to reach the Cup . Blake has done his Job , and the Kings need the Power Forward they Drafted to help take them to the next level .
