8. Anaheim Ducks (12-27-4)
Last week: 8
The Ducks lost both games they played last week, 6-2 to the Edmonton Oilers and 6-2 to the New Jersey Devils. They’ve been outscored 19-5 over their last three games.
Perhaps Trevor Zegras is starting to heat up, though. After going 11 games without a goal, he’s now scored three in his last four.

7. San Jose Sharks (13-23-8)
Last week: 7
The Sharks started the week with a 4-2 win over the Arizona Coyotes, but then dropped a 4-3 game to the LA Kings before getting crushed 7-1 by the Oilers.
Timo Meier kept his hot streak up in the loss to the Kings, scoring his 12th goal in 15 games.

6. Vancouver Canucks (18-22-3)
Last week: 6
A tough road trip for the Canucks, but they salvaged the finale and snapped a four-game losing streak with a 4-3 shootout win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday.
It was Brock Boeser who saved the day for the Canucks, scoring his ninth goal of the season to tie things up for Vancouver in the dying seconds.

5. Calgary Flames (21-14-9)
Last week: 5
The Flames nearly blew a 6-1 lead to the Dallas Stars on Saturday, but held on for a 6-5 win. They’re on a five-game point streak, going 3-0-2 in that span.
Andrew Mangiapane has followed up his 35-goal season a year ago with just nine in 44 games so far this year, but he’s scored two in his last three games after an 11-game drought.

4. Edmonton Oilers (24-18-3)
Last week: 4
After losing to the Kings to start their road trip, the Oilers won the final three games of it. They blew out the Ducks 6-2 and the Sharks 7-1 before a 4-3 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights.
Just another week for Connor McDavid, who put up four goals and three assists in four games while making a few highlight reels along the way.

3. LA Kings (25-15-6)
Last week: 3
The LA Kings picked up a pair of wins to begin the week, 6-3 over the Oilers and 4-3 over the Sharks, before finishing it with a 5-2 loss to the Devils on Saturday.
LA’s power play had a great week, going 6-for-13. Three of those were scored by Kevin Fiala, who despite failing to convert on a penalty shot on Saturday still has six goals in his last four games.

2. Vegas Golden Knights (28-14-2)
Last week: 1
The Golden Knights played just two games last week, beating the Florida Panthers 4-2 before losing 4-3 to the Oilers. They also lost captain Mark Stone to an upper-body injury that he’s considered week-to-week with.
Vegas will need others to step up in Stone’s absence. One player they’d like to see do so is William Karlsson. After scoring just one goal in his previous 18 games, Karlsson’s now scored in each of the last two.

1. Seattle Kraken (26-12-4)
Last week: 2
The Kraken just made an emphatic statement to anyone still waiting for them to go away that they can stop doing so.
Seattle became the first team in NHL history to sweep a seven-game road trip. They’ve won eight straight overall, and that road trip saw them hand the Boston Bruins their first regulation loss at home this season with a 3-0 shutout. The Kraken are just two points back of the Golden Knights for first place in the Pacific and they have two games in hand.
Matty Beniers had an incredible road trip. The rookie put up 11 points (6G-5A) in seven games.
