Some good news for the LA Kings – forward Viktor Arvidsson is expected to make his return to the lineup against the Chicago Blackhawks.
LAK Viktor Arvidsson in for tonight, back to his regular spot with Phil Danault and Trevor Moore.
Moves Arthur Kaliyev back next to Blake Lizotte as well.— Dennis Bernstein (@DennisTFP) March 24, 2022
Arvidsson has not played since March 6 in Buffalo, catching an edge and going down awkwardly into the end boards.
Kings head coach Todd McLellan indicated that Arvidsson will resume his role on the second line with Trevor Moore and Phillip Danault, which has been one of the best lines in the National Hockey League this season. Arthur Kaliyev will return to the fourth line, flanking Blake Lizotte.
McLellan noted that Tobias Bjornfot isn’t quite ready to return to the lineup. Nonetheless, this is excellent news, and the Kings will slowly start to get bodies back into the lineup.
