3. A dominant team performance
The score may have been close, but the game was not. Credit to Marotte for how well he played as Ontario outshot San Diego 36-18 and owned the shot-attempts as well:

The game probably would have been a little more comfortable for the Ontario Reign if it weren’t for the first two San Diego goals, which I think were ones that should have been stopped. That said, at least on the second one, Sparks may have been injured as he came out of the game right after that.
Ontario is back in action on Sunday against the Pacific Division-leading Stockton Heat.
