The LA Kings have activated forward Phillip Danault off of the league’s COVID-19 protocol, as he is eligible to return tonight as the team hosts the Vancouver Canucks at crypto.com Arena.

Danault, 28, is in his first year with the Kings after signing a contract that will make him part of the team until 2027 this past offseason. Through 29 games, he has four goals and 14 points. He’s been a pretty big part of the team’s forward core throughout the season.

Danault was placed on the list on December 19th, meaning he spent a total of 11 days without the team. With him being activated, this leaves just Dustin Brown and Olli Maatta as the remaining Kings on the COVID-19 protocol list.

It is unknown if Danault will play tonight, but he is eligible to. We’ll have to wait and see.
