The LA Kings have more news on Saturday as the club has just recalled forwards Jaret Anderson-Dolan and TJ Tynan from Ontario.
It is turning out to be a busy Saturday for the LA Kings.
While they have had had to officially part with Kale Clague, who was claimed off waivers by the Montreal Canadiens, the Kings have temporarily lost Blake Lizotte, who was placed on the non-roster/COVID-19 list. In turn, the team has called up forwards Jaret Anderson-Dolan and TJ Tynan from Ontario.
The @LAKings have announced the following player transactions:
Jaret Anderson-Dolan (F) and TJ Tynan (F) have been recalled from @ontarioreign
Blake Lizotte (F) has been placed on non-roster/COVID-19 list
Kale Clague (D) has been claimed off waivers by the Montreal Canadiens

Lizotte was playing very well this season, scoring one goal and adding four assists in 21 games for the Kings thus far. Beyond his offensive numbers, Lizotte has been a workhorse for the Kings, fighting in corners and aggressively chasing pucks, to name just two tasks. He has been on the club’s fourth line with Arthur Kaliyev and the now-suspended Brendan Lemieux.
As for Anderson-Dolan and Tynan, both have had great starts with the Reign this season.
Despite playing 34 games for the Kings last season, Anderson-Dolan has yet to suit up for the big club this season. However, the 22-year-old has been a force in the AHL this season, scoring five goals and eight assists in 16 games for the Reign.
As for Tynan, his maiden season in the Kings organization has been successful so far.
In 12 games, the 29-year-old has three goals and 14 assists, and will hope to make his Kings debut very soon.
Now that they’re called up PLAY THEM or leave them in Ontario to hp the Reign.
JAD will certainly play in place of Lizotte, which if you recall is exactly how it transpired last year. JAD was red-hot out of the gates.
